1975 ford e150 van

auhg! What should I do? I have a feeling this can be turned into a four wheel drive. I would like that very much living in Washington state. Please, anyone know anything about these bad boys. It has 50K original miles on a 5.7 351. I can take care of all the body work, trick the interior ect...but 4x4??? I bought it yesterday for $1000, and it purrs. very excited for this project. would like to make some friends on this board to help show me the way.

and, if this is not posted on the right page, help me figure that out to...first try.

thanks,
mike.

Re: 1975 ford e150 van

I'm sure it can be converted to 4x4.

I'm also sure it will cost more than you think.

Do you want to do the work yourself? Or have a shop do it all?

If you do it yourself, it would be easier and cheaper to buy a similar vintage 4x4 van with a rotted out body and transfer everything over.

If you want to farm it out: UJoint, Advanced, QuadVan are good places to start.
