2002 Ford E350 7.3L V8 quigley 122,000 miles 4x4 quigley
I am looking to get into the SMB world and am researching the above vehicle. The engine appears to be well maintained. Generally, how many miles can one expect to get out of the 7.3L V8. I hear, when maintained, well they can go several hundred thousand miles? In good condition with the RB50 standard configuration what approximate $$ value would one place on this SMB. Thanks in advance.

All depends on the detail and condition of the vehicle as you can imagine.
With such general parameters I would think low end $20,000 to a high end of $50,000
and some people have even asked more. Too many unknowns to really give much more advice than that.
Engine can last 400,000 miles or more if properly maintained.
Some of the SMB's have over 200,000 that I know of.
I personally love the 7.3 set up with an RB50 set up. I'd prefer a different 4x4 on it but then again I would not complain as once again it is all relative to the price point and your needs.
Good Luck as sounds like you are headed in the right direction.

I had one with 785K on it, and I've also seen them bad at 200K. Maintenance is always a big factor, but most are ready for injectors ~200K, and possibly an HPOP. 7.3's can be expensive to fix, but they rarely fail!
