Hell Herb, I left out half of the stuff that happened the first couple days, like the boss trying to drop a large propane tank on me, or smash me with an excavator bucket. The same excavator that later had me running at it with the fire extinguisher, or the bear that crapped just outside the door to my trailer the first night. I'm not sure the company would approve of cameras following us around though.

Certainly they wouldn't object to a critter cam......

Sounds like OSHA might be interested in having a camera crew follow you though.
Keep your head on a swivel and stay safe (and maybe tell your boss he could be more help if he were back at the home office).

The last thing we need is OSHA. They would have had a litter of puppys if they had seen the boss with a cigarette dangling from his lips three feet from where I was siphoning gasoline from a 55 gallon drum. He insisted he could toss the butt in my gas can and it wouldn't light, and I told him he was probably right, but just outside the can, the vapor would explode. I made it clear that either he left, or I would and he backed off. Never the less, he's a really nice guy, just very driven to move forward. As for a critter cam, we already discussed that and someone is bringing one.
Head's on a swivel for sure..................

Jeff doesn't look edible - Griz is not stupid!

Oh, we're all edible to the Grizzly. And, as Jeff said, he's fairly slow moving. If he's working with mostly younger folk...
Well, I'm hoping for the best.

Ok guys, I haven't been eaten by a bear (yet) I had a close encounter though a couple nights ago. In the total dark, I was walking back to my 4 wheeler and about ten feet away I thought I saw it move. Turns out a bear was checking it out. I made a bunch of noise and he sorta ambled off in no big hurry. I now carry bear spray and a spotlight everywhere at night. You might have seen the news about my friend Marica who was mauled by a Griz last week. Fortunately, she's ok. Let me go get a beer and I'll bring you all up to date.
