My (two) spares are both D-rated BFGs. My van is really close to your van's weight (8300 total), so the D-rated tires are OK but marginal.
I've done back to back on just on axle and on a single tire. The D-rated tire does have a much softer sidewall, and I did not feel as comfortable going fast with it as I do with the E -rated ones. However, as long I keep it in mind and keep my speed reasonable and don't strap a dead moose to the hood, I'm not stressed about driving with the d-rated tires either.
If that's all you can get, just slow down a hair, of if you weren't pushing that hard to begin with, don't sweat it at all. Just don't load something stupid heavy in addition to where you already were with them.
