7.3 conversion from gas?

Has anyone done a conversion from a gas 351 (5.8) powered van to 7.3 PS on a Quigley built E250? I have access to a whole 7.3 litre 2wd van I can use for the conversion.
Thanks Much!

7.3 conversion from gas?

I has talked to a buddy about this for mine, who is some sort of big mechanic, and after a long list if things I would have to change, the cost would be around 26k.

I hope he's wrong and more info will show up here.

I think putting the Quigley on the 7.3 would be the easier course.

I don't know about CO but my understanding is that's not even an option in CA unless you live outside of the APCD areas.

It would be cool to see a Detroit 4-53t in a SMB. I'm not sure how they would fit in the dog house but worth a look. They can be had for a song.

Legendary reliability, they do not die, you have to kill them. Incredibly flat torque curve, certainly the most low-end torque. The sound of the screamin' jimmy is incredible, too.
