This video shows what the van I found, near Glacier WA - down the road from Mt Baker Ski Area - looked like.

In WA we only started using salt on the roads in the last 2 years - eco system EPA thing. The rig looked like this video because everything is wet in Glacier (near one of the snowiest places on earth) and the weeds and moss grows up and under things.

The carfax confirmed no history of ownership in the rustbelt.

The thing ran fine - no fuel leaks ie bad injector o-rings - no leaks off the LO filter O rings - just nothing I could turn around and flip for $6000 because I couldn't do that to somebody else - they might be like me... drive up 12 mi of icey fireroad to hike for 2 hrs, then skin for 2 hrs on a glaciated volcano to splitboard for 6 hrs, then ride/hike out and have to drive for hrs back home ... ALL TO SHRED POW IN OCTOBER! and beta test gear btw...

The owner was completely above board w/me because one way or another we all end up riding boards or biking w/each other over the decades... PNW after all.

Nasty. This is the first I've heard of salt being used in WA state.
