Are my new shocks upside down?

Just had the SMB Fox shocks put on my '07 RB-50 4x4. The front ones have the shiny shaft on the upside and the rear have them on the downside. Is that right? Does it make difference?

Don't know what kind of suspension you have but it sounds like the front are upside down to me.

That sound a little off....shocks should be mounted with shaft on the bottom. Who installed them? Can they be flipped around or is the mounting different?

It's more common to see the shock body installed higher than the shaft, but maybe there was a reason to install the shock body lower than the shaft??

Statement within install pdf - in most cases, FOX direct-replacement, smooth body shocks are mounted with the shock body oriented on top.
