Current RIP Prices

Any idea on a current ballpark figure for a RIP package? I sent my pictures and details to Agile on Monday but haven’t heard anything yet. Trying to decide whether I do a RIP or solar project first. I should be patient, but that is not one of my virtues.

Just as a datapoint, would anyone care to share what a RIP kit for an Econoline runs (approximately)?

Looked briefly, hope I didn't miss anything blatantly obvious... I'll look kinda stupid if I did...

About $1000-1100. I have bought 2 RIP kits for E350s in the last 2 years. If you need add-a-leafs or coils, that will add $.

It is approx $150 each shock and the steering stabilizer. Then add $ for ubolts, tax, freight.

Should’ve been more specific, looking for a Quigley converted E350. Looks like I got my answer below.

One I got for a Quigley, the other for a Quadvan. Similar pricing.

Do the RIP first. Your white knuckles will thank you. We weren’t comfortable driving ours over 55 before. It’s a different van now. 2004 smb quigley.

That is interesting. I'd be interested to know what the differences between early '97 Quigley conversions were and early 2K conversions were.

Only thing I have done is change the steering damper- after running SF to Everett, my hands would feel slightly numb from all of the vibration and feedback coming back up through the wheel. Shorter trips it was never apparent. Before and after, it felt fine cruising at 75-85* mph. Only white knuckle moments I have had were between Jackpot and Reno when running from Bozeman back home, and those were crosswind related where semi-trucks were getting pushed a lane and a half over... Not sure that me getting pushed around could be blamed entirely on the suspension.

Worthwhile to add Helwig sway bars as well? I've heard good things about them.

* On that strip of Mexico that runs from SF to Everett, of course. Nobody would speed on the 505 or I-5
