Dana 44 TTB question

I don't know if anyone can answer this question but here it is. Can anyone tell me what the maximum turn angle of the Dana 44 TTB would be? I have heard 45 degrees but i'm not sure about that. Right now mine is about 30 degrees. Turning radius sucks. The installer is going to adjust the steering stops but i'm curious about how much more I should expect.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
Darryl

Re: Dana 44 TTB question

I didn't think the steering stops were adjustable? Are they even being touched?

If the stops are not being engaged, you may be able to just install a longer Pitman arm.

Should be able to turn right up to the point that your inside tire rubs on the Rancho Radius Arm. Is it hitting now?

Re: Dana 44 TTB question

I just wanted to update this thread. I took my van back to the installer and had them check the steering stops. As it turns out, they were not adjusted properly. They poped it on the lift and a few minutes late it was fixed. Now my van turns like it should. The steering stops are located on the lower back of the steering knuckle.

Cheers
Darryl
