Fender rubbing problems

My front tires are rubbing the fender when I turn with only a little bit of suspension compression. I'm planning on getting some fender flares, and I want to eliminate the rubbing so I don't rip the flares off.



Right now, I think the wheels have a -12 offset. I'm guessing that a 0 or +6 offset will help eliminate the rubbing.

Or, would it be easier to just get out the sawzall and trim the fenders? (I really don't want to do this)

Here is another way.
This weekends project, 35" on a Quigley. (DIY Fender trimming) - Expedition Portal)

This is probably more metal work than previous post, but doesn't require welding and filling if your going to slap fender flares. I didn't have welder handy when I did mine, so it dictated this method. I do have welder now so ill weld and fill mine back up when I get time.

I looked at that thread earlier. I think that's what I'll do. You make it look simple.

i took 5 min and trimmed my fender with a sawzall. but i'm gangster

We are making fiberglass fender for the new body style. i will post more pics on the van, until then here is a peak. The wheel opening is larger giving you additional clearance in the rear section.
