Back from training this week and my new Dynaloc hubs were waiting for me. Couldn't wait to install, so decided to tackle them last night. Have had a noise when I took off from a stopwhile making a turn. Hadn't found the noise and gave up. Figured it out last night. First Warn hub I removed came out in pieces. Hub wasn't damaged at all, but the large rear ring had come undone. This ring didn't damage the hub, but it did a number on the spindle nuts. Somehow it worked around the nuts forcing them loose (even with the lock washer tabs). Fortunately, they had not loosened enough to cause any issues. So, cleaned it all up, got out the grease gun and went to work. New hubs have more parts than the Warn hubs. These parts need to be greased as well, where as the Warn hubs are not to have any additional grease applied. That's the downside, and not hardly worth mentioning. On the upside, the Dyanlocs are bomb proof, actually fit my application, and work. Finally, after all these months, I actually have 4x4. Oh yea, the noise is now gone too. Worth the expense.
