Ford e-250, v-8 , 4X4 CONVERSION

Hi!
Looking for suggestions of who will convert my 2005 2WD sportsmobile into 4wd...i have it lifted, larger wheels and upgraded to fox suspension which is much improvement but now would like to know I could drive out of a muddy or snowy road if the weather changes. Not looking to d any 4x4 wheelin" just bad weather performance....any recommendations??

Every place I have ever heard of doesn't care what engine is in it. They just dont recommend the 4.6L v-8 because it can be a bit slow. However, the 5.4L v-8 is no problem.

Which engine do you have?

Places that will convert your van regardless of engine: agile offroad, ujoint offroad, quigley (might be too old), advanced 4x4, quadvan, timberline and maybe a few others out there.

If you have the 4.6 v8, you will likely need to regear unless you don't mind taking in the views on the uphill sections.

Then any of those places should be willing to convert it to 4x4. My first choice would be agile then ujoint then the rest. A lot will be determined by which is closest to you geographically.
