Re: Found in Baja

Ouch is right. Yes, we put this ambo together in early 2013. I agree that a bearing or both bearings failed due to any # of reasons. I've had one fail on me and I felt it immediately. Not sure what he felt if anything.

I've been in communication, helping any way we can from the other side of the country. He's sourcing another axle housing as far as I know know. This van was fairly low mileage when we had it and we never opened it up to change anything.

Damn 6.0...... They're taking out 7.3's via osmosis!

Re: Found in Baja

He shouldn't have any problem getting another axle at one of the many yards in San Felipe or for sure Mexicali.

Re: Found in Baja

I can report he did make it...

We saw him pull into Rancho Grande at Gonzaga Bay this past Sunday or Monday night. He only stayed one night and drove out the next morning.
Didn't get a chance to chat w him though because he was gone so early the next morning...

Ramsey, where did you see him parked? Was it between Gonzaga and Mex 1?

At Rancho Grande, just south of the store.
