Re: How do I lock my hubs if there's no visible dial?

I wonder if they put a vaccum (auto lock) system on it?

Re: How do I lock my hubs if there's no visible dial?

Freedomseeker-any updates, were the hubs hiding behind the caps? And who put those wheels on, did you purchase it like that? And not to sound like an ass, but you had said "all of my hubs look like this"...just the fronts lock[emoji111]?
Also note that if you purchased the vehicle like this, although those wheels look mighty new, most likely the previous owner never had that thing in 4 wheel drive, it's always good to engage all those moving parts from time to time and to keep the gears lubed up, check your front (and rear) diff fluid, rear will most likely need be changed more frequently, as it's the primary drive.

Re: How do I lock my hubs if there's no visible dial?

Sorry for the lack of updates on this. Scottman ended up being extremely helpful by mentioning that most of those allen screws were fake plastic ones. There were 3 real ones, so I took the front caps off and they exposed the hub locks. I've been using the 4 wheel drive a lot and it works great! Thanks everyone for the help. I'm sure I'll be back here for more help when I'm not admiring everyone else's vans.

Thanks! The top one was taken on top of the main hill in Cayucos, CA. The second one was out in the Oceano Dunes, near Pismo Beach, CA.
