Trying to work out what the broken weld is, is that the track bar mounting?

Actually it's not the weld that broke but the metal bracket sheared just after the welds.

If that is a track bar mount are you sure thats not an advanced conversion? I just cut/ground one of those off of my axle, but mine was a leaf spring conversion.

Using the image of the van in google images search took me to his home page. There is another pic's on the van, it's definitely a coil sprung front end.

What roof rack and side ladder is that? doesn't look like aluminess.
