I have the Deaver Package. Installed in 2013. The performance difference between the Deavers and the OME leafs and shocks SMB spec'd in the early to mid 2000s is night and day. I'm less than impressed with the remote reservoir Bilsteins, however. I just replaced the right front because it was blowing oil and the left rear has 4" of no dampening, presumably because it's lost nitrogen charge. I'm still waiting to hear on what if anything Bilstein regarding warranty and/or rebuild but Jeff at Deaver has been great to deal with.

I appreciate that info. I told jeff i wanted to go with Fox shocks so we'll do that on this one. Hope warranty works out on your Bilstein's.

Get the Performance Series FOX Shocks with no reservoir - do not get the Professional Series with or without reservoir.

Let us know how this all turns out.

Fox and Agile were parked right next to each other at the Expo. No doubt they discussed the subtle intricacies of custom valving

The trick is getting them valved for a different application than what Ramsey is familiar with. One reason to go with the Bilsteins that Jeff at Deaver offers. Maybe it's no big deal.

Anyhoo, nice to meet you yesterday Ramsey albeit briefly.

Thanks for stopping and saying hello - always good to meet face to face.

FOX invited us to display with them. We were also luck to have Aluminess use our Agile Sprinter in their display.

We are, and would be happy to supply Deaver or you directly.

As it turns out there is no warranty offered by Bilstien on a custom-valved shock, even if Bilstien does the modification.

Did not want to open a new thread. Even if in my case it is the REAR springs.

I have a '08 e350 EB SMB QuadVan conversion. With the original 4 leaf springs and lift blocks (4") in the rear and bilsteins all around.

The rear has been sagging quite a lot. I had them reworked. It got better but still could be improved.

The ride is nice but could get better offroad and over bumps.

I nearly just read the best about the Deaver springs and the Agile RIP Package.

So my questions are:

1. Has anyone combined Deaver leaf springs in the rear and the RIP kit? What do you think? How does it work together?

2. Is it right that the RIP kit also includes new (Fox) shocks for the rear?

3. what will the Deavers (more or less) cost me? The pair. With parts an shackles but without shocks and without installation (I live in germany).

4. and the price for the Agile RIP?

Thx guys!

Garage
If your considering doing the RIP you might as well just call Agile and have them tell you what they recommend for springs. I have never heard anyone on here complain about Agile or their service.
