Limit straps

Has anyone installed limit straps on the front axle of an SMB 4x4 conversion? I'm convinced that is the root cause of my failing spring / shock mount plate a couple weekends ago.

For anyone that has installed them, where and how did you mount them (any pictures would be great)? I have some ideas of how I will do it, but I am curious what others have done. I may also install them on the rear. I know the rear axle can drop further than the reach of the shocks from watching Deaver do some additional work a few weeks back.

Thanks -
Phil

Re: Limit straps

These work well because it's hard to set it up right (where your getting all the travel you can without blowing shocks), and they are adjustable.

Here's how they mounted them on a Ranger.
