Lucy, you have some splinen to do...sorry.

Anyone know how to tell if their Dana 60 rear diffs have 30 or 35 spline axles? Want to order my ARB locker but would rather not have to take it apart and put it back together just to find this out.

Tom

I believe the only way to be absolutely sure is to pull one and count. Could the stock Ford Axle be either?

There is a Bill of Material # on it. Get the number and call Rusty's OffRoad .com. They should be to find the spline count with that number.

ARB does have lockers for the 30, 32 and 35 spline axel.

Sorry, I just thought this would be the last place that guy would ever be mentioned. Didn't mean for you to take it personally.

Not to get off topic and start bashing folks... Back when we had our XJ, we had terrible experiences with Rusty or Krusty as i call him. I along with many others in the Jeep world are surprised he's still in business.

Re: Lucy, you have some splinen to do...sorry.

It's not funny, he ripped me off for over $1200 with bad parts that never fit, broke or bent the first time out and cost me a lot more on top of that. Of the things he actually sent every one had to be repaired or replaced, and ended more than one outing prematurely. It's a story that is repeated over and over with this guy in the XJ world and there is always one in 20 who will recommend him like he's Jesus, it's enough to keep him going I guess, that and the utter disregard for his customers who have problems.
