After spinning my wheels all weekend in the soft, dry silt hunting at the Colorado River in Arizona, I would be interested in a pair for $110.

Skyrat, do you have a name/source for that lock?

Yes they stack, the last picture in my original post where I'm pointing to one of the mounting holes has two treads stacked together. It sorta hard to tell by the angle but there are actually two stacked together.

Thanks, MSD.
I am a nut for Yakima SKS Locks and cores. I have over a dozen of them and all are keyed alike. My Hi-Lift mount up front, Rocket Box, Kayak mounts on my 4WD 4Runner, Bike racks and all. They even make a 9' cable with a loop that uses the same cores. They make the post and a long bolt that the locks can work on and it is an amazingly convenient and versatile for use in many different engineering situations. I used the long bolt for the MaxTrax and the post pictured below for the Hi-Lift.

I get everything right from Yakima.
Two of the items shown are on this page. But don't be afraid to give them a call and tell them what you need. Customer service is the best I have seen anywhere.

https://www.yakima.com/catalogsearch.../?q=hitch+bolt

I use the Hitch Lock to fit over the end of the Arm Lock Pin for the Hi-Lift.
It also fits over the end of the Hitch Bolt that I mounted to the Baja Box for the MaxTrax. The Hitch Bolt was used to mount the Yakima racks to a Hitch, allowing you to lock the rack to the hitch. Both are super useful if you can drill a hole or weld a bit. You can make almost anything to lock if you use a bit of imagination. I am also a big fan of the Lock Up on that page above. We use it to lock Kayaks to the bars on top.

EDIT: Here is a pic of the Hitch Bolt as originally purposed, mounting the hitch to the rack.

Yes stackable and the dimensions are 13.5" wide and 47 1/4 long

This is about right for my Maxtrax.. 2.5" for one, each additional one adds about 5/8".

I have a pair of these I picked up when they dropped to $110 or so. I haven't used them yet but they are solid & decently heavy. They stack together for mounting. I'm in the San Diego area if you're local & want to check them out while they're clean.
