Chris, is that the standard lift height with MG's kit or did you mod it a bit? That looks like a solid 6" at least. I'm curious what you did in the rear, mostly. Blocks and your springs or just the springs?

Thanks

86scotty - it does look super tall and I think part of it is the smaller front end paired with the custom bumper, but if your going to be running 33s and those are 35s there's your height difference right there.

He may have modified something but it doesn't look like it to me.

I'm also guessing those are his stock 4" springs in the back by the look of the way the tire sits in the wheel well and the lack of rake from front to back. If he had the 6" springs it would be drastically raked unless he modified the front height.

No problem, I could be totally wrong but I looked at all the photos and it all looks the same as mine just with bigger tires.

Hopefully Chris will weigh in, but based on my eyeball, and then a closer look at fender height above tire as a ratio of tire size, looks more lifted than jsweezy's.

But then, I'm at the inlaws and have had a good amount of rum.

Rally - I get what your saying and you may be right because it does look taller but I am wondering if it has to do with the older smaller front end vs the newer taller one.

Looking at this picture, everything looks exactly the same as on my van which is why im not sure what he would have done differently.

CHRIS! Hurry and end this debate!

Front end is different, but the fenders are the same...

Sorry! Ha.

V8 has 6" rear springs and the Moog coils up front, empty 5.4 van right now. It sits within .25" of AlphaVan at the pinch welds which has our 6" conversion. Here are the dims, all measured from the ground to the bottom of the pinch weld:

Front 25.5
Rear 26

Thanks Chris!

So I'm guessing maybe the weight of the v10 vs the v8 makes mine sit lower in front? I'm surprised it doesn't have more rake with the 6" springs in the back. That's what MG had on his van with a 5.4l and it looked more drastic than that.
