My Toyo AT's wandered and darted at speeds 60+mph when new, but tracked well after a few months. I put maybe 10-15K miles on them in 4 years and one developed a bulge so they all got replaced. They gave me a $90 credit for the one bulged tire. They were OK, when new, but rode like dog crap when I sold them. Bought BFG AT's which were night and day improvement. Asked about Nitto's and discount tire guy told me the store graded them in a lower class than the BFG's. They are not a whole lot different than the Toyo's. If Toyo makes them I would not expect much more.

This was for a lighter conversion van total weight unloaded is 6200lbs.

Just to be clear your experience is with the first generation Toyo Open Country ATs? The AT2 has a larger void pattern and a more aggressive sidewall especially in the extreme size. Not sure how that translates to on-road manners.

I thought they were AT2, but could be wrong. Whatever they were selling in April of 2013. To be fair, the van didn't get driven as much as it should. Only 10-15K miles over four years and the van would sit still for most of the week with light driving on weekends cept for a road trip once a month. Just before the bulge I got from driving on gravel it sat in a mud puddle for a few weeks, which could of been a culprit.
