Quigley Factory Tour

Great people at a solid 3rd generation family American business. If your looking into 4x4 full size vans (Ford, GM or Nissan) be sure to check these guys out. The factory tour in Manchester, PA was awsome and worth the time if your in the area. Call ahead, as it is a private thing and not really an organized tour.

I love my Quigley

Re: Quigley Factory Tour

Byron

Thanks for the tour of the Quigley Factory. Great pictures.

I wish they had the Nissan NV and the Ford Transit already converted so we could see what they look like post conversion. I'm hoping the Nissan NV looks a little better with some 4X4 gear under it. I'm seeing more NV's on the road and while I still think they are pretty ugly they are starting to grow on me.

The stack of converted for 4X4 shortened V10 fuel tanks was interesting. I wonder how much capacity you loose.

I also checked out the Gauley Fest on your blog. That event is on my bucket list. I hear catboats out there are a rarity. How did the guy with the cracked roof beams on the van do that? Were people crawling around on the roof stackin yaks? What kind of van was that?

Re: Quigley Factory Tour

The NV conversion is done and was released in September. Still rare to find a stocking dealer, as Nissan only has a few "commercial" dealers as it is who can sell the NV. The look honestly dosen't change much on the rig, besides more aggressive tires that help a bit. Check out the new YouTube channel for Quigley and you'll see some cool footage of the NV in action.

Cat boats are a rarity on the Gauley, but you see a bunch of Open boats and squirt boats, which are rare out here. Gauley Fest is a MUST for any WW enthusiasts! Just do it The van with the cracked roof in that post is a Ford E350 van used by a Baltimore shipping company. It is an old beater and I guess the roof broke from people walking on top to access the racks, but not really sure. SKETCHY is the best word I can come up with!

Thanks for the kind words all Quigley Tour was tons of fun and the people there really make a good impression!
