Quigley suspends 6.8L orders - Q now taking V10 orders again

Found this on the Quiqley site. Pretty disappointing.

6.8L Ford E-Series Van Suspended

We are sorry to announce that as of January 2012 Quigley must suspend orders for 6.8L E-series van models, Cut-Away model is not affected. We will not be taking orders for the 6.8L V10 Ford because of vendor issues with certain components. Our inventory is depleted and our vendor has pushed back our supply several months. The 6.8L Cut-Away model is not effected only the van body models!! We apologize for any inconvenience and at this time we are uncertain of the future for the 6.8L Ford.

Re: Quigley suspends 6.8L orders

No surprise, since they some of the parts they were installing on mine last year looked "gently-worn", so I assumed they were running out of parts!

About the only thing different I can think of between the vans and cutaways is the fuel tank

Re: Quigley suspends 6.8L orders

someone told me that they were using a Chevy transfer case - the one they use for the Escalade - on FORDS. he also said it would not fit behind the V10.
