Quigley Track Bar Bushings

I'd like to upgrade my track rod/bar bushings to urethane. Quigley wasn't any help--it's their bar. Has anyone been able to source urethane bushings for their Quigley track rod?

Thanks
Tom

Re: Quigley Track Bar Bushings

I'm surprised Quigley made their own track bar instead of just using an existing Ford or Dodge product. Try calling your local Four Wheel Parts store and see if you can match up something to fit. May be a wild goose chase and you'll need to know dimensions of your existing bushings.

I've heard that some urethane bushings squeak like crazy after a while. You interested in urethane to stop death wobble or just a stronger, longer-lasting bushing?

I think the black urethane is moly filled and not squeak prone.

If all else fails, you could buy the material and have it machined to fit.

Re: Quigley Track Bar Bushings

Quigley must ( ) use standard parts for the bushings, rod ends, springs, bolts, etc, I mean these are the same people who take the front end and T-case from the F-series instead of doing all custom. If you can get a part number for the bushing maybe you can trace back to the original application and find a poly for that. Surely they don't custom make the bushings?

Otherwise measure and call a 4WheelParts, as switchfoot already said, they stock a lot of poly sizes AFIK. My bet is they're from a Ford.
