Talk to me about the u-joint angle problem. How severe was the angle that caused the vibration? What was the fix? Was the vibration a constant thing or did it come and go at a given driveline rpm? Did it increase under decellatation?

My vibration starts at speeds above 55 mph. Under acceleration or cruise torque it's barely noticeable. It becomes more pronounced when I let off the gas. I didn't notice it before the gear and carrier change. The shop balanced the driveshaft and replaced the rear ujoint in an attempt to fix it. This did smoothe things out a bit but the vibration is still there. I have another appointment next week where they plan to pull the diff cover and double check all the settings.

I hope they can fix the problem because I have a week off right after the appointment and plan on a slow relaxing camping trip down the Oregon and Northern California coast.
