SMB shifter

How about some photos of the SMB Atlas II shifter... I'm curious where it's placed and you never see it in ads.

Jage - I've got pictures, but they're all on my computer. I don't use any other web address with my photos. Don't even know how. Seems to me I saw a picture someplace on the SMB web site. Can't remember where though. Have you looked over their site pretty thourghly?
Anyway, I'm sure someone else on the forum will have or can take a photo for you.
Any plans on changing things so we can post shots from our computers?? I know nothing of these things....

Just to the left of the Lime-Green trash bin. Black knobs.

Hmmm... I guess your driver seat doesn't swivel... does anyone trip on these? Do they get in the way if you swivel the driver seat?

John at SMBWest told me that it would indeed hinder my driver's seat from freely rotating more than 45 degrees. This is sufficient for my usage, so I still ordered the rotating seats.

Garage
As I was told by the source, if you get the electrically adjustable seat, it won't swivel. I think the manual adjustment one will. Of course, all the pasenger seats swivel.

I did see a post from a user on the yahoo board about how they were able to get the electric seat modified to a swivel.

I asked her, and she let me know who had performed the work:

Adaptive Driving Systems in San Luis Obispo California. There phone number is 805-549-7996. Ask for John. Their website is http://www.adaptivedrivingsys.com/index.html

If I had known that it was possible when I ordered, I would have ordered the power seat and had it converted afterwards. As it is, the manually adjustale seat will suffice.

Mostly I'm just looking to be able to turn to face the passenger side seat for quick lunches on the road etc.

Hmmm... might have to do something about that. I was expecting to have the driver's seat swiveled for camping.

Manual seat swivel

The manual driver's seat will swivel 90 degrees. It's a bit of a pain to do with the shifter there, but I've done it a few times.
