Toyo and Nitto offer a 285/75/17 that's a little taller and a little narrower than those even, at 34.1x11.6. I ran that size Nitto Trail Grappler as my last set of tires on the van, worked very well for me. For reference, my current 315/70/17 Hankook Dynapro MT's are 34.4x12.4, so only 0.3" difference in height, but 0.8" in width. A BFG AT is 34.4x12.7

Running new 35” KO2s on Icon Rebound HD wheels. I have a thing for keeping the laces out.

Finally got my wheels on after alot of research, thought id share for the next person— stock 2003 e350, i put Eagle Alloy 17x8 8 lug, -5 offset, 4 3/4 backset wheels. 245/75/17 Toyo AT3 fits great, so far no rubbing

Did you buy those wheels recently? If so, from where? I have almost the same Eagles on my van (just in 17x9 with a machined lip, pics earlier in this thread) and was looking for a spare last year and never did track one down. Should have just bought 5 from the get go, but I didn't plan on Eagle going out of business! Ended up with a "close enough" style from Method as my spare, at least it isn't seen from the same angle as the others.

I'm pretty much set on upgrading to the BFG KO2 17's. Plenty of 275/70/R17s in stock around here, but I'd have to order the 285's. Any reason to wait on the 285's? It's about $120 extra to gain another 1/2".
