I was just going through some of my threads and realized I left this one hanging a bit.
I purchased BFG TA KO2 295/75/16's, and mounted them on the stock rims. I'm happy with the set-up, no complaints. I have not tried lowering the PSI down really low, which is where my narrow rims could have issues. But 1000's of highway miles, 100's of dirt road/washboard miles, and no complaints or issues.
My Quigley did need some fender trimming and bumper trimming, but it was all very minor and did not involve any of the exposed/visible sheet metal. When I was installing my RIP kit I dropped the van down onto the bumpstops with the tire/wheel combo mounted, and steered lock-to-lock, and it was clear.
I did get my tires one-by-one off of Craigslist and Ebay, and saved a ton of money. All the tires were new, some I got as low as $100, normal price is about $215. Ebay had a sale, I think it was %15 off the whole site, and I got my last two that way, no shipping or tax charges. Just an FYI.
