How wide are your aftermarket rims? I had 16"x10" rims but went down to an 16"x8" rim so that I could run a tire narrower than a 315 (even 305's are typically recommended for a 9.5" max rim).

I've seen the center break out of my rear inner Alcoa. Good thing there was another wheel present to keep the rest of the wheel/tire with the van

I've also broken the bead of an MKW alloy rim, but that one had some persuasion from a guardrail. I've also bent a half dozen steel rims on my van, hence prompting the switch to all aluminum (and the broken Alcoa prompting a switch back to steel for the inners)

I'm now running ATX Mojaves. Bulletproof.
