I agree, if you will share them post it as a new thread and I'll sticky it, then we can talk about the Preditor and programming such things there.

Re: Tire Size Question

Its alive.... Its Alive...

to revive this old tread, im just NOW getting to new tires... and if swtichfoot is still around, he said

I just would like to clarify Switchfoot, or to check to see if i understand correctly. Switchfoot says that I need LESS backspacing thereby moving the tires out, away from the chassis. I am pretty sure this would cause more rubbing, as I "think" they are too far out now. I just want to make sure. see my two photos, ....

I'm running 315/70-17s and they don't rub while turning at all. My rims are Helo Guns (a bit blingy yes) 17"x9", 6 mm offset and 5.25" backspacing.
my backspacing... 4.25

Re: Tire Size Question

Rockman,

I'm going to have agree with you. Most rubbing is caused by too little backspacing. I have 8" wheels with 6.5" backspacing and very little rubbing with 275/70-18 tires.

But, it depends on where the tires rub. If they rub on the inside, less backspacing could help. Most rubbing is towards the outside of the tire and on the body and caused by to little backspacing.
