TRU-TRAC GEAR DRIVE DIFFERENTIALS

Has anyone had any experience with Tru-Trac gear drive differentials installed in the front and rear? I understand from Craig at S K that it will give me limited slip in front and rear which is stronger than the rear limited slip on my van now - a compromise between nothing and air lockers.

I've never known the limited slip in my Jeep to make a difference, except once it kept making the rear go sideways like a locker would. I wouldn't want that in the front.

Plus the added cost of maintenance (gear oil additive) and the fact they wear out (especially without the additive)... I would go selectable locker in the rear only before doing front and rear limited slip.

Not to mention that using a limited slip can require driver skill (probably why I think mine is crap) where as a locker is push a button and go.

And since when are you compromising?
