I think they are more concerned with small stones & cracking windshields, but maybe not. The more the state needs money, the more they will enforce these BS rules.

Off topic but...So remember how I opened my big mouth last week on this thread about no front license plate? Well I got nailed after 3 years without one. Right in front of my home.

I know, I know, it's my fault.

That's not a Fix-it Ticket anymore, is it? I heard that in CA it is now a moving violation with points added to your record. Is that what you have found? I don't have plates on the front of any of my cars. Looks like I might have to change my modus operandi.

I got nailed from the meter maid, so I don't think I get points on my record. I hope not. It is not a fix-it ticket, just a fine, but $40. I got one a few years ago on my daily driver at LAX and that was from LAPD (got pulled over) but it was a fix-it ticket.

Re: Utah and Mud Flaps

Maybe I'm lucky, but I've had my SMB in UT for more than 4 years and have never heard of this issue until this thread. I've got BFG 315's and bushwackers, and I've never seen any other UT based SMBs with mud flaps. I don't plan getting any . . . . . .
