I think the pitman has to be longer to reach the steering stops before reaching the limits of the steering box. A shorter pitman arm may mean 50'+ turning circles.

That was why S-K changed the pitman arm on their conversions.

I checked it today

Number on the pitman arm is
4C 34-3590-CA i am not shure how many splines it has. It is not easy to count them if it is installed

here some pics as promised

edit: lenght of both sides (center of hole to hole) is about 6.7 inch (170mm)

That is a good point. A stock pitman arm may just put you back to stock turning radius, which probably isn't much fun in Europe. I really think the steering-assist-ram is the way to go. With the exception of the frame-side mounting bracket, using the F-series setup should work since its the F-series axle and I'm pretty sure they share steering pumps. The look the same other than the reservoirs.
