That is correct as I understand it, but I'm no expert.
In other words in the example above, GVWR=7300#, Payload 2165#, Empty/Bare Van should weigh in at 5135# (before adding anything: no camper conversion and no 4WD).
If the van weighed in 7400# it sits at 100# above its allowable GVWR. Having said that, I would check to see if the 4WD conversion didn't change that GVWR sticker- sometimes upgraded wheels, tires, springs, etc. on a 4WD conversion can increase GVWR and sometimes the added weight will work against you. The sticker on this particular vehicle may differ from what I found on cars.com
