Well, while that is flattering, I can't actually take credit for anything. All I did was make a couple of phone calls, send a few emails, and demonstrate to some people how they could make a whole lot more money if they were willing to make some minor adjustments. I think the money thing did most of the talking!
Update: Our build delayed due to my work schedule. This turned out to be fortuitous as SMB has worked out the details on the Lithionics battery install w/o the unwanted or needed battery box. I'm waiting on word from Brian on our final battery configuration and I'll post that when available.
Delivery now scheduled for 3rd or 4th week in May after I return from sea. Followed by a trip to El Cajon for the Agile Offroad work.
Inaugural trip with completed van north via Joshua Tree National Park, east side of Sierras and Cascades. This trip will be solo as my wife will still be working.
Our first trip together will be to Lopez Island in the San Juan Islands. Next trip Saltspring Island in the Canadian Gulf Islands.

I second Tom's comments. My van is probably not even a gleam in anyone's eye in Dusseldorf yet but I'm working hard on the build plans which will be very similar to Backcountryguy's. Glad to hear the battery situation got resolved.
Good so see you posting. You haven't been around for awhile. How's your planning going with SMB? Have you made a deposit and received an approximate build start date?

Yep, made the deposit back in November to get a spot in the build line and place the order for the 4x4 van. My systems will be very similar to yours and Backcountryguy's and the layout will probably be a lot like that new Winnie Revel. I didn't even ask about an approx. start date. I have some things to handle between now and then so I can spend a lot more time in the van and less taking care of other stuff. I'm sure I'll be making a couple of trips to Austin this year. Hope to see some nice builds in progress. Maybe yours!

I have a definite to meet friends in Joshua Tree National Park after the Agile work, but pretty flexible after that. I'll see how the delivery date and follow-on work shapes up. I'm not even sure yet how much time Agile Offroad is going to need with the van, but I thought five days would be sufficient.

I received the below note from Brian Furrow yesterday. Sounds like the details are being worked out for a great system, details to follow once I receive the options from Brian down the road.

I have been holding off so that I can give you the best options, especially considering the new timing of your build.
