TomH,

Thanks for the effort! I really appreciate it. I'll touch base with Brian on the ladder. I changed to a VC ladder as I thought it would integrate better with the VC Rocker Guards and the existing factory roof rail mounts as per the excellent info from Fitz. Hope there aren't any mounting holes that have been drilled for the Aluminess ladder.

Build Pictures

Thanks to TomH for sending me a few pictures of our van while I'm overseas when he visited SMB last week. Once I head down for delivery in May I'll post several systems specific pictures (electrical, Van Compass, Interior, etc) to the thread separated by posts.

We're approximately 6 weeks away from delivery!

6 weeks away and counting, and planning, and waiting, and learning yet another lesson in patience!

Thanks to Fitz, who worked some kind of mojo on pics I took in complete darkness and morphed them into something you can actually see. Brilliant (in more ways than one)!

More Pictures

Three pictures from Brian Furrow @ SMB.

Also may thanks to Fitz, who as usual is a huge help. His suggestions/experience have lead to a lot of the build features in our van.

4Runner

I don't have any new pictures of our Sprinter yet, although I'm 4 weeks away from inundating my build thread with delivery pictures. I'm chomping at the bit here!

So I'm throwing a picture of my 4Runner in there, taken up FR 34 in the Okanogan Wilderness...

Are you coming through Vancouver on the way home, or will a trip to Van Compass keep you off this part of I-5/205? If you come through, I sure would like a quick look at the rig! Be happy to treat you to lunch/dinner.

Build/Delivery/First 5 months

I am finally in the process of organizing my photos and documents since delivery this past May. Since then either I or my wife and I I've been on the road for 95 days in the Sprinter. It's been everything we hoped for.

In the next 2 to 3 weeks I'm going to post multiple times outlining the delivery, various build aspects, trip down to San Diego to Agile Offroad, and all the various stops through the summer.

In addition after much use we decided to add flarepods and move the bed athwartships. I'll be going over that decision and that build modification in future posts as well. Work will be done at SMB Fresno.

Van has been absolutely fantastic.
