Re: Our Sprinter is getting close!

Questions:

Are the two connectors just forward of the rear tire the electical and city water hookups?
A.That is the intake exhaust for the suburban heater, now removed. Sadly I am stuck with that part.

What's behind the seemingly removable cover just behind the driver's door at the bottom?
A. Propane tank, city water, cable tv and electrical. If you don't have propane they don't do the do the door thing, they put the connector's right into the body with some kind of chrome fixture.
SInce the propane tank is gone I am converting this to a storage unit.

Do you mind giving the price of the 3M film install? And do you think this is a good solution to help avoiding nicks, scratches etc?

Thanks,
Robert

Re: Our Sprinter is getting close!

I had the film installed in Fresno before I left town (4/18/08). I think it helped a lot on the trip to Alaska. We did the hood (I took that off later to put the MB badge on) the front fenders, the lights and the rocker panels.

I don't remember the price and all I have is the work order. It was done at A&P Detailing in Fresno. There was no template for the Sprinter so all was done by hand. I would do it again.
