Sportsmobile Sprinter Convention in Moab?

Okay everyone, I am in Utah and there must be a Sportsmobile Sprinter convention going on. It's a few days into October and we're driving around the west on vacation and I've seen more in the last three days than in the past couple of years put together...

At the LaQuinta in Moab I saw a Ford 4x4 van with plates that started with "Vito...", okay not a Sprinter but it set the tone for the next day.

We went to Arches National Park on Thursday the 5th and saw 4 Sportsmobile Sprinters, 2 were 4x4.

So who was visiting the Moab area?

Chumley:
We are here!
We love October in Moab and have spent the last 4 years enjoying the hiking, bicycling, and canyoneering. Look for a 2500 EB with NM tags.

Hey JayBea,

What color is your rig?

Moab is definitely the kind of place where SMB owners would be. Active lifestyle and all.

We are going off their the grid for a few days now in Canyonlands and points south.

Definitely going down the Burr Trail and into Monument Valley before we head into Santa Fe. Gotta get my red and green chile fix.

Enjoy,

Chumley

You may have seen us as well. Visited Dead Horse Point and Canyonlands last Sunday. Met a woman from Seattle driving a grey Ford SMB with penthouse. Went to Arches and down to Natural Bridges on Monday. If you want an exciting drive, definitely try the Moki Dugway on Highway 261 near Mexican Hat, UT.
