Ditto. A lot can change in what one wants in that mount of time.

Tom, I am sorry to hear that. It really is a long road, yours more than most I believe. I think you and I ordered in roughly the same timeframe. We ordered ours in September 2016, took delivery May 2018.
Although the May delivery was due to my work. I believe SMB West would have delivered in the Jan-Feb timeframe if I wasn't on the ship.
All the best to you.

More than 26 months had passed since we placed the deposit and our enthusiasm had waned. Between the 2 of us, we'd had 3 hospital visits in the last several months and our daughter developed a medical condition which may require stem cell therapy, not covered by insurance.
Based on decreased health and possibly facing large medical bills for our daughter, at the end of February, we asked for and received a refund of our deposit from SMB-West. Ironically, our van had just arrived. Brian stated that it was the first 2018 unit ordered, but the last one received. Someone will now have a much shorter wait for a new SMB.
I may drop in here occasionally, but not often.
Adios, everyone.

TomH, That's definitely a tough decision to have made, and IMO a commendable one considering the circumstances - Wishing you ALL the best so you're able to chase this dream again soon.
Thank you for your active participation & contributions that so many have benefited from, along with the help you've specifically provided me over the last couple years - much appreciated!

Ditto the above. I have greatly enjoyed our information exchanges, looking forward to whatever level involvement you choose to have in the future.
