The PDF says "Introducing the Sprinter 4x4"

But I bet it's not available in the US. It's a PDF file, published Jul 31, 2009. Check it out:

We can only dream. Looks like this is for Australia (see below). I traded emails with SMBW a week or so ago and they said they haven't heard any news about bringing the AWD/4x4 to the us lately.

They are available in Europa for a while already from the factory or outfitters.

Re: The PDF says "Introducing the Sprinter 4x4"

The Sprinter 4x4 cannot be sold in NA as there has to be major modifications mede ex factory to meet NA legislation!
Crash tests, exhaust emisions and max weight changes. it will be a brand new model introduced to NA with all the required tests which will costs millions of dollars. and with the current dollar rate not financable for MBUS.(to little profit)

Re: The PDF says "Introducing the Sprinter 4x4"

Again in Saline Vally this year I saw a solid front axle 4x4 conversion on a Sprinter. It looked nice and functional but still sat fairly low compared to the Ford SMB 4x4. I spoke to the owner and I thought he said it was a prototype and I can't remember what company did the conversion.
