Question twin beds slide to make 1 / EB 112S (with a 3rd passenger chair instead)

Hi all

I did a search but could not find a thread title with 112 in it....

On the layout for EB112s (on the 170, extended body, of course)

- it says "twin beds slide to make one large bed"

Does anyone have that option? How does it work out for you?

Any advantages for this setup over just having one big bed? (that does not slide)

and

We are considering getting the EB 112S (with a 3rd passenger chair instead, behind the driver)

Has anyone done that layout? Likes or dislikes, having lived with it?

many thanks

John

I kinda have that setup, a modified EB11 on a Ford, with a rear dinette that folds down into a bigger single bed. The dinette benches could be used as single beds, too (if you are short enough). Advantage in our van is it keeps a walk through layout while allowing a large bed (full size in our case). Also nice to have the dinette option for lounging about with three people. We like it a lot.
we also modified the stock layout and added a third chair for our son, pulling the sink cabinet next to the barn doors to find the room. We don’t miss the sink at all.
