Re: Wind and High Roof Sprinters

Hey bluesprinter, this is your almost twin sprinter from the left coast. I had the same issues. A heavy duty sway bar, Koni shocks and the spring assist kit from the Sprinter Store did the trick. All in all, about a $4000 fix but it certainly was worth it. Prior to the fix, I tried to cover my miles in the morning since the winds were low - my wife hated the early a.m. starts. The downside...I often find myself cruising at 70-80 mph since the sprinter isn't fighting me anymore. There is another discussion thread on this site about sway. There are a lot of ideas in that discussion chain too. Chumley had similar issues. I believe he also did the sway bar, shock, spring assist fix. All the best!

Chance, you're right. There's no long low-roof variation.

Re: Wind and High Roof Sprinters

dbiggles, I may end up going that route. I would need to find someone here in this area to do the installation.
