06 E250 Sliding door extender arm

Willing to purchase one but the two outfits that modify them aren't responding to emails. I'm open for suggestions.

What size tire are you looking to clear? Do you have factory wheels or aftermarket (specs?)?

E 250 sliding door.

Running 285x75's on 8" wheels with 0 offset and door slightly rubs. Planing possible lift and also 9" wheel with at least .12 offset.

Ya that should rub a fair amount. I am running 285/70r17s on 17x9/4.5bs/-12mm offset wheels and a 1" extension was all I needed to clear properly. There can be very slight contact if the van isn't level, but certainly nothing of interest. Shoot me a PM, I may be able to help out if you still can't get a hold of the other vendors.

If you want to go the DIY route...

Not trying to take away an opportunity from REDOVAL.... if he's willing to do one for you, by all means take him up on it. I've done dozens of them over the past few years too but it would be weeks before I could get to it with my current workload.

Yep, your setup puts you another inch further out then the 285x75's so the 1" extension just makes it. That will work for me. The wheels I'm planning on are, atx series AX195 Cornice Teflon Wheels For Sale & atx series AX195 Cornice Rims And Tires

which is a 4.5 BS and -12 offset.

Thanks pal, I'll give it another day and let you know how I make out.

Jeremy at Weldtec took care of it and I installed the hinge yesterday. Had to jockey the hinge and door a bit to get the rollers on the track but it all worked out. Took about 2 hours and I picked up a good inch on the door/tire. Thanks again.
