Re: 265/75R16

I think you will be pleased with the Goodyear silent armor tires.

Mine are size 285/75/16 and are approaching 30k miles. They have really done it all. Highway cruising with heavy loads, lots of snow and ice, deep snow where I also needed chains on all tires, and many off-road miles where I aired down to 35-40psi. They have taken me all over DV and the eastern sierras on many trips.

My only gripe is the limited size availability of this tire, especially with an E load rating.

Just curious; are those tires on a stock suspension, and if so, with no interference?

Nope, I have the SMB installed 4x4 setup with suspension mods. With these tires I have loads of articulation room.

FWIW- I have 285/50-20's with a stock lift. I just took my Action Van ( for sale btw) lift and put all the stock stuff back on and have been running the tires for a couple of days and no rubbing at all!

The 285/50-20 comes out to 31.2"x11.4" so I'm sure you could use this as a guide.....
