I totally agree and since this is not a full blown furnace propane hot water rig, then I will try and keep it clean. It's actually a really good spot as the cord can rest on the tire and not be hanging off the inlet. My electrical will be fully accessible so I can see the backside of the plug and check for strain etc.

good times!! Another small win in the van build. I literally lose sleep over stuff like this. I turn an easy thing into a mountain.
