No you don't have to put longer shocks in.
I think it does a little, you are stealing 1.25 of shock extension so less droop over bumps and stock shocks have no rebound so that doesn't help. With the addition of fox shocks it helps slow it down.
The shocks will bend the top stems over time if your drive as crazy as kurt...
but one day we will get it all figured out or just put a coil over in there......

This is why we designed the lift spindle, to keep stock ride quality. Either way spindle vs spacer is still better then driving stock van.
