Deconstruction
I have a 2002 EB350 center aisle configuration. I'm considering a months long trip next summer and need more interior storage space for cameras, laptops, other gear. Street-side rear contains a shower pan with a marine toilet and a bath cabinet, plus the black water tank underneath. Curb-side rear is a small cabinet with the 6-gal water heater. I'm thinking of removing all these items and their wiring and plumbing. I've use the shower maybe four times in eight years, so I guess I wouldn't miss it. And without the shower, the water heater is just dead weight. A small porta potty can replace the marine toilet.
Anyone have any experience removing any of these items? I realize I'll wind up with a couple of holes in the bodywork, but I'm going in tomorrow to get an estimate to patch and repaint.
