Express fuel door

I've got a 2007 Express EB that I want to add a billet locking fuel door. I'm thinking the Chevy silverado or classic pickup aftermarket fuel doors may be the same physically as the Express. Anyone know for sure or have any leads?

Re: Express fuel door

I'll try and give the company listed a call and see if they have any info. They have a model for 92-2013 Ford E350. Some days it sucks not to be driving the normal 4 x 4 van.

Re: Express fuel door

I forgot where I found this on the internet, but it was not a plug and play install. I needed to modify a few of the bolts and drill some holes in the metal around the filler cap, discard the adapter ring, and it is now on better and stronger than the instructions would yield. Still, it came out fine and I've had no problems. I can look in my archives for the source if you need it.

Re: Express fuel door

That's what I'm looking for - I bit the bullet and ordered one for a silverado. I'm hoping it's a close match for the express - if not a little fabrication will be in order.

Thanks

Re: Express fuel door

I think the Silverado may have a larger door than the Express. The Canyon looks like the same size though. (I haven't measured any, just my observation looking at them).
