Flare prices too good to be true?

I want to put Bushwacker fender flares on my 2001 E350 superduty. It's got Toyo Open Country A/T 285/75R16LT 122Q tires, I don't think that's a problem and I don't plan to change them any time soon.

I've been checking prices online and found them on the SMB store for $390 per pair. Ouch! Bushwacker Flares - Front - Ford, SKU:10411

Then I see these on Amazon, appears to be exactly the same item for $205. Bushwacker 22003-11 Ford Extend-A-Fender Flare - Front Pair

So I have to wonder if what Amazon is selling is some Chinese knockoff. How can they sell the same item for virtually half the price? Too good to be true?
Given a choice, I don't mind paying a FEW extra dollars to someone else to avoid propping up the amazon monopoly, but this is some serious money and savings for me.

If anyone's got any recent experience with this purchase, please let me know about it. Thanks!!!
-Scott

I just installed a set from Amazon. I had been watching the price for months. Usually hovered around $270 a pair. Last week I got an email stating they were $204 a pair plus I had $100 in Amazon points. Got all 4 for $300 and change. They are the real deal from Bushwacker. Warranty and everything.

I posted a thread on here with the link for people to follow.....

I tried to order these same flares twice on amazon at the $204 per pair price and both times my order has been cancelled because they are out of stock. However, when I go look at the item again it says they are in stock.

Just to confirm, you guys have actually gotten these at the advertised price from amazon?

Well, it figures. I just looked again and the add says 2 left in stock, which might be 2 less than I saw this morning. Why do I feel like I'm being baited by a giant? Anyway, I'm going to wait until this eve or maybe tomorrow to place an order, just cus. Also, I heard there's a site that checks amazon's claims I might look for. Online ratings and reviews have become horribly corrupt now, too.

Last order I placed said they had 8 left in stock, then it got cancelled a few days later.

I bought them from amazon. Came in bushwacker packaging with a bushwacker sticker. Sometimes they are on sale through warehouse deals.

Well I just tossed the dice and we'll see how I do on this one. Sounds like a bit of luck might be at play here. I'll let you know how it comes out.
Thanks again everyone!
