Thanks everybody for all the input. This certainly helps with the research. Not sure if I have the same enthusiasm some of you have for velour. I had velour seats in a Buick back in the early 90's. Barco-lounger plush, but the 'friction' of the material (vs. cloth or leather) would eventually pull my pants up into wedgie as I drove. Guess I'll just have to find a set of seats to get a true "seat of the pants" feel.

Wonder if new seat covers will fit on the the old bench frames? Oh the gears are turning, I'm sensing more research and another project in my future.
